Fighting Words

I am not a political analyst nor will I pretend to be an expert in politics. Before I start my rant let me first say….. I am an independent, not a republican nor a democrate. I am not sure who I will vote for at this point. . However, the statements coming from the BLACK supporters of Hilary Clinton are borderline offensive and down right insulting. First there was Bob Johnson insinuating that Barack Obama was doing drugs when the Clintons were emerging themselves in issues that affected Black America. Lets get something straight, while there were many economical improvements for African Americas during the reign of the Clintons…. there were many fuck ups as well. Such as........

The Clinton administration gave out high performance bonuses to states that excelled in moving former welfare recipients into work. The only problem is the criteria the Clinton administration used to determine job placement success.

The Clinton administration determined that a person could be considered in a job if they had only received $1 dollar in earnings in a three-month time period. And the Clinton administration determined that a former welfare recipient need only to have been in a job for 6 months to be considered to have achieved job stability.


The Justice Policy Institute report and The Sentencing Project figures indicate, Black incarceration rate skyrocketed under the Clinton administration.

The JPI report reveals that 225,000 more Blacks were incarcerated under Clinton than under President Reagan - the Republican President most disliked in Black America.

As far as I am concerned Bob Johnson should be apologizing to Black America for the invention of BET. They cut BET Nightly News, The Teen Center and any productive shows that might have empowered or enlighten our community. Now we are subjected to Hell Date, We Got to Do Better and let’s not forget the mind numbing videos that display black women as hoes and black men as gold teeth wearing, gold chain having dope selling hustlers, who that spend all their disposal income on women, cars, and jewelry. As far as I am concerned Bob Johnson sold out his people for a fat check from Viacom.



And if one rich black idiot wasn’t enough to have in her camp, here comes Mr. Andrew Young who is the United States' first African-American ambassador to the United Nations, and supposedly a civil rights leader. This fool is quoted as saying, “I want Barack Obama to be president in 2016.” Also adding about Bill Clinton, "Bill is every bit as black as Barack. He’s probably gone with more black women than Barack,"

WTF…. WTH….. What is with all these references to Bill Clinton being black? First Toni Morrison calls him the first black president now this fool says he is black too. Oh my Goodness, y’all better recognize that Bill or Hilary ain’t black. If they were black do you think he would have ever been Governor of Arkansas? Do you think he would have had all the opportunities presented to him without scratching and fighting his way to the top,,, huh. So let me get this right Barack Obama a black man got to prove he is black enough but a white man can be certified black by black people?

I wish people would stop letting people who represent them make stupid statements. This presidential race is very important and statements like the ones mentioned above takes the spot light off things that really matters. People I urge to vote according to the issues not according to the ethnic heritage of the candidate or the gender. Don’t let political jargon sway your vote… use your intellect and know what you want to get from the next president and vote that way.
